We’re working to reduce social isolation and improve wellbeing in South Somerset

Being part of a thriving community is important for our health and wellbeing. It creates opportunities to connect with other people, try new things, and share our skills and knowledge. It makes us feel happier, valued and supported.

Just because we are physically apart it doesn’t mean we have to be socially distant. Through our Take Part project, and in partnership with Yarlington Housing Group we’re reaching out to Somerset residents virtually.

With support from Cosmic, we’re engaging with the local community online via our dedicated Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/cosmictakepart/ We’re encouraging residents to stay connected and try activities that could have a positive impact on health and wellbeing. By partnering with other organisation to share ideas and signpost to reputable information, we aim to empower people to manage their health and wellbeing, and look out for one another.
