Join the movement

As the lock-down proceeds, many of us will no doubt find the isolation nags and we can begin to feel lonely. This is hardly surprising. We are pretty much hard-wired to talk and share, so being forced to stay away from friends (and much of our families too) is not easy or comfortable.


There is no perfect substitute for a good old chat, face to face, over a coffee or a cup of tea, but we want to offer here a second choice: a phone call from someone else who might also be lonely, or who might want to listen to others who are lonely.


Please note:

This is NOT a therapy or counselling service. It is NOT about tackling serious mental illness.

It IS a place where people can simply natter: about what is up to whoever joins in. It is a significant thing to get involved with and we hope people will benefit from all points of view.
